Some background... There once was a very popular Metal group, known as Metallica. Grand fame was thrust upon them, for their musical talent was legendary. Amidst their ranks a young fellow by the name of Lars Ulrich showed a great prowess in the art of percussion. As we will explain, his mental prowess, however, was lacking. He has shown little regard for the rights/views of the very people who allowed him and his comrades to become so successful.
What are we all about?
We at KMFLU would like to let it be known that we do not support the efforts of the RIAA and its constituents in its efforts to effectively exterminate one of the most influential companies since the conception of the Internet: Napster.
What exactly has Lars done?
Several years ago, without a legal leg to stand on, Lars started a new trend in the "land of the free" by threatening lawsuits to many major universities if they did not block from their networks the Napster service; Thus, without proper legal litigation, depriving their students of the service. Furthermore, he threatened action against Napster directly - forever changing its modus operandi. Fans of Metallica were banned from Napster per order of Lars Ulrich for the alleged electronic duplication of copyrighted works. It seems quite evident that Lars cares more for money than for the love of his fans. Oddly enough, he didn't realize that the two go hand in hand.

Today, the extent of his pioneering efforts can still be felt in many of the largest American Universities, and by many unsuspecting internet users worldwide who are chosen every day to be made an example of. Was this the sort of vision the founding fathers had for the "Land of the Free?" Was this the image Lars held in his mind while working with Metallica as it developed its "bad boy" image?
